End-to-End Customer Data Protection & Change Log
7-Layer defense-in-depth architecture protecting Focus Personal Training Institute's financial aid data from SFTP pickup through D3 ledger posting.
1. Encrypted Transit & Immediate Archive
Pulled over SSH-2 SFTP (ftp.ecmfinaid.com:22) or TLS 1.3 HTTPS. Streamed directly into PHP memory (never written to public webroot) and immediately archived to /FTR/archive.
2. Scoped SHA-256 Bearer Key & Role Auth
Every API call requires a SHA-256 hashed Bearer key bound to PK_ACCOUNT = 99 or an authenticated D3 session with MANAGEMENT_TITLE_IV_SERVICER permission.
3. Multi-Tenant Firewall (M_ECM_SCHOOL_CODE_MAP)
Column B (FA_SCHOOL_CODE) is verified against M_ECM_SCHOOL_CODE_MAP. Any foreign school code (e.g. ACM) is blocked with CROSS_TENANT_SCHOOL_CODE_MISMATCH and zero DB writes.
4. Zero-Plaintext SSN Matching & Last-4 Masking
SSNs are encrypted in memory via my_encrypt() to match S_STUDENT_MASTER.SSN. Logs, UI tables, and API responses only store or display masked SSNs (***-**-0000).
